Getting to Bond Street
Bond Street station is not on Bond Street. It sits on Oxford Street at the junction with Davies Street, about a minute from the northern end of New Bond Street, in Zone 1.
Three lines stop there. The Central line platforms opened in 1900, the Jubilee line followed in 1979, and the Elizabeth line arrived on 24 October 2022 with new entrances at Davies Street and Hanover Square. The Central and Jubilee run the Night Tube on Friday and Saturday nights, which helps with late bookings.
Step-free access is by lift from Marylebone Lane, off the northern side of Oxford Street, while the other entrances use stairs and escalators only.
Green Park and Oxford Circus are both easy walks. Green Park sits at the Piccadilly end of Old Bond Street, roughly seven minutes from the south end. Oxford Circus is about 250 metres from the Hanover Square exit, and Transport for London allows an out of station interchange between the two.
Buses 7, 94, 98, 139 and 390 run along Oxford Street near the station, and buses 9, 19, 22 and 38 run along Piccadilly at the Old Bond Street end. Routes here are being changed as Oxford Street is pedestrianised, so check the TfL site on the day if you plan to travel by bus.
Landmarks nearby include Sotheby's at 34-35 New Bond Street, which has been on that site since 1917. The Allies bench, with Churchill and Roosevelt sitting together, was unveiled in 1995 where Old and New Bond Street meet. The Royal Arcade runs off Old Bond Street, and Handel and Hendrix in London sits in the neighbouring houses at 23 and 25 Brook Street.
